Chomped!

I was using chomp for my texting and was having no problems. I started realizing my battery not lasting like it used to so I looked into it. The chomp app wasn't using much battery, but it was using enough to show up on the battery usage break down. Mind you I had it set as my default for texting. So now I have deleted chomp. When I click to open the regular texting app it is still coming up as the chomp version?? The chomp app isn't even on my phone anymore. Any ideas? Thanks for any help. Love the forum
