Change Vibration patterns

Is there a way to customize the vibrate feature. For Example, 1 vibrate for email, 2 for appointments, 3 for Text Msgs. I had this setup on my BB and worked really well. I didn't have to look at the phone each time it vibrated.

I have a rooted Droid and I am able to change the vibration patterns by using the notification settings for each app. Have you looked at the individual apps to see if you can change the patterns?

I have looked at the individual applications and from what I found is the apps only allow me to turn on the vibrate mode for the app but I can't customize it to vibrate more than once for a given app.

I am not sure what rooting the Droid means. I will research and try to root it to see if it give me more options.

I have also tried to find apps on the Market but nothing useful.

Get handcent for sms and k9 for email. They both let you customize the vibration pattern as well as the LED color.

Sorry OP, I use KP and Handcent. Should have been clearer.
