I have an LG Optimus M and have just recently purchased it a few weeks ago. I am having issues with the battery, "Cell Standby" is using around 45-60% of my battery and "Time Without Signal" is always around 60-80% of the time, but I always have a signal.

I've tried putting my phone in "CDMA Only" but that doesn't seem to help at all. What else can I do to fix this? My battery only lasts a few hours before i have to charge it and then it takes at least 6 hours to get a complete charge when it's dead. The battery also gets really hot when it's charging.

It sounds like a radio issue. Have you checked for updates available?

What provider do you have?

How old is the phone?

I've seen this issue on my D1 and a D2. What works, at least temporarily is to plug in to the charger, put the device in Airplane mode, wait about 30 seconds and take it out of airplane mode. Once done, "time without signal" should go back to 0%. If/when it comes back, repeat the process. I usually toggle airplane mode in my wife's D2 nightly just to make sure it her battery will be fine the next day.
