Cant uninstall some apps?

their are some apps I dont use and dont plan on using but cant seem to uninstall them...the "uninstall" button in applications is greyed out..is their a way to uninstall these? Thanks.

Those are the preinstalled apps and the only way to remove them is to root.

Ahhhh ok thanks...the phone is new so dont think I want to "root" it..really have no idea what that is does or entails...thanks for the quick reply!

Well rooting basically gives you administrative access to the phone. In essence you can do stuff you weren't originally intended to do. If you ever do become interested you can always look around here. There's tons of information.
