Can't root..help!

Ok .so I was rooted and all was well.. I used the quarantine/freeze app and it fubar'd my Maxx. I ended up going back to stock via motorola rsd or rds..whatever that thing is then did the OTA update. Phone is working perfectly. But know when I try to root using the method I used prior to this I get..cannot find path and something about adb.. Any suggestions!!?? Thanks.

Factory reset and try again. If not, try rooting with Motofail.
