I'm on 5.1 via OTA and reciently added Android Pay which required me to add a lock screen. I just had swipe before.

I wasn't using Android Pay as much as the pin lock was frustrating so I uninstalled Pay thinking that would let me remove the pin lock. Nope.

I've removed all the device administrators and uninstalled Pay and I'm still not able to remove the pin lock.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks.

This reminds me of the issue with smart lock, but I don't think that was an easy fix

Idk if they need to go that far. If nothing else, a Factory Reset should clear it up.

    Maybe try this option here:

This is from the thread about disabling Trusted Devices and still not being able to set the lock screen to swipe/none/etc. Trusted Devices on Lollipop | Page 2 | Android Forum at DroidForums.net

Awesome! No problem! This issue seemed to be so much like that other one. Just happy I was able to find that other thread that I remembered @sajokaz posting a fix in!
