cant apply .893 update

rooted, 4ever root, and cheesecake. I can download the .893 update but i cant install it. I have done 2 full restores back to stock, re-roots, and still the update fails to install. Any ideas?

are you using the stock recovery?

i have tried doing it from the phone (cheesecake) and from the zip file in stock recovery. Both have failed

was it named update.zip and in the sd card-ext?

I've been dealing with this for a week straight, my problem lies in preinstall/app - if you try to update in stock recovery when it fails what is the error you get ?

Try it again and let me know if it has anything to do with verifying system preinstall/app/com.motorola.zumocast

can you upload the lets golf 2.apk that comes stock with the bionic? i uninstalled that earlier and i think that may be the problem

I will try the update again and ill post exactly what comes up
