Hi. I'm a newbie and want an icon that shows me the percent of battery life. I know there is one automatically, but it doesn't give me a percentage. I researched and saw good comments on the batterylife widget, so I installed it. I know this is odd, but I know it installed, but I can't find it anywhere! I pulled up the task manager and it showed as starting up, and then disappeared. Any hints? Also, any alternate suggestions for a widget that will monitor battery life or time?

    Thanks!

Long press on an open space on one of your home screens -> Widgets

    Thank you

As so frequently happens with droid, the solution was elegantly simple. Nonetheless, I never would have figured it out on my own. Thank you for your help.
