At night it is difficult to find my 4 buttons. On my D1 they seem to stay slightly lit anytime the screen was on...

If there is a rooted fix let me know as I rooted this phone in less than 8 hours of getting it.

There is a fix out there however I'm not sure what its called. I know with the DJ05 update that we are supposed to get soon it is going to make those buttons tied with the backlight timer we have set for the screen.

Can't wait for that. Love the phone. But can see why the signal and gps are known to be bad. I want that update more than froyo!

If your not big on flash and we don't need Move to SD, Froyo only offers a few tweaks. I will miss Chrome2phone though....

Was it difficult? And are you going to be able to get the ota update once it's released?

Just kind of curious as to why you decided to do it now instead of wait if you can't get the official version now?

Not knocking your decision, just new to this root stuff and trying to find the +/- of it all.
