submerged droid, dried out for 5 days. Tried hard boot, failed. Now sreen says 2c7c, battery ok, ok to program. Am I able to root or is my phone shot?

how did you dry it out. i have seen people use rice in a ziploc bag to dry them out and they still worked. and was it powered off as soon as you could.
