I don't think there is a SuperOneClick for mac, you could set up a vm with a program like VMware or Parallels.

I was tempted to take a plunge on this, but your comment stopped me... for now. Already running ApeX 1.4.1!

Hmm. Didn't work using mono. I'm probably gonna stay stock 3.4.2 for awhile and message the dev because it looks like he needs testers/helpers for a mac version.

Anyone know a working link to the Droid 2 Bootstrap? The link on Koush's website doesn't work. I've already bought the Droid X Bootstrap, so I really don't want to buy it again just because it doesn't work with 3.4.2.....that's still the case, right?

I think if Koush wanted it to be distributed freely he would have fixed his site by now. I just bought the D2 version even though I already bought the DX one. To me, 2 bucks is practically a joke for a price for an app like bootsrapper; considering how valueable that app really is and how fundamental it is for modding our devices, I was more than happy to buy it again.

    Steps to Root New Blurred:
    1. Goto Settings > Applications > Development > enable 'USB Debugging'
    2. Download and install/configure the most up to date drivers for your device
    3. Download SuperOneClick 1.6.5
    [APP]SuperOneClick v1.6.5 (Root, Unroot, Enable Non-Market App, Get UNLOCK code) - xda-developers
If that version doesn't work, try this version
    Special version SuperOneClick:root froyo/2.51 easily! - xda-developers
    4. Unzip folder to your c: drive
    5. Run SuperOneClick (if you already ran it before and exited it preemptively, use ctrl+alt+del to open task manager and force end all instances of adb.exe before running superoneclick again)
    6. Connect Phone to computer via USB
    7. Click "Root"
    8. Wait for procedure to finish
    You are Rooted!

If you are encountering difficulties its most likely due to driver issues. You may find more luck on an x86 machine rather than an x64, because driver issues are more probable to occur on x64 machines unless you know how to manually configure them to work properly.

I've tried this update, certainly for me it is smoother and battery saver, but unfortunately I've noticed that stock video cam only can record at QVGA (the lowest quality) :( also when I tried to use the official hotspot app it's useless, is there a fix available? or should I go back to stock rom?

You could probably easily flash the old blurr camera. As far as hotspot is concerned, this is very strange to me; I just had someone pm me about hotspot problems on the new blurr. I also have had people report problems to me about a zip I made to flash the new hotspot to work on all ROMs. The thing that's confusing me though is that I never had problems with it, in fact, it worked extraordinary well for me and was reason I tried repackaging it to work on all ROMs, and it worked for me on Rubix and a few others. So I am trying to think what's different that's preventing me from getting these problems. The only thing I can think of is build.prop edits. Did you try hotspot before making build.prop edits?

Where may I found the old blur camera? I didn't try the official hotspot app before editing build.prop I'll install agan blur 3.4.2 and tell you what I find, other point I liked from it, was that my contact picture updated automatically and even motorola widget quick contact action
