I will always recommend a data wipe and very important make a nandroid always!!
If you choose not to use my Gapps or follow instructions then you will need to ask yourself why isn't this or that working right!

1. Make sure your using latest cwm
2. These must be followed exactly
2. Download all 3 and place on phone
3. I recommend wiping data/factory reset (especially if on another rom)
4. Flash Rom
5. Flash stock gapps zip
6. Reboot go thru setup sign in to google account!
7. Get thru setup. (If you wanna let market restore your apps wait but try not to open market LOL)
7a. If you opened market before rebooting go into settings>apps>all apps and uninstall market updates!
8. Reboot back into cwr and flash Black_ICE-gapps zip

****Only for those who are updating from previous version of rom****
1. Make a back up (always a good idea)
2. Flash rom update.
3. Flash BlackICE_gapps*****.zip.
4. Reboot
This method works for me all the time only when testing and updating.

I would say no since it is a different ROM, even though it is built off aokp as a base. But you could always try it I suppose. Just make a back up and be ready to restore if there are issues.

You should seriously checkout Boot Manager from init2winit, best couple bucks you'll ever spend!

Testing now. Love the option for power button torch from lockscreen. Theme looks really nice. Would like to see some more uniformity with the icons ( Gmail and talk are white, voice and SMS are blue...) but all in all, really nice so far.

im using the boot manager- i have flashed a lot of ROMs and for some reason this is not installing the gapps for me.
this is what im doing
open boot manager
go to an open slot.
install zip
Rom zip - wipe system, wipe data, wipe cache
after that is complete
install zip- gapps- STOCK- overwrite but do not wipe anything
boot rom
this rom loads but never gives me the selection to log into google
tried to go to accounts & sync and google isnt an option to sign into

and im stuck here.

Loving the blackout theme. Question about Mastur Mods. I downloaded one of the custom battery icons, but how do I install it? Flash it? Sorry if this is a silly question, but I'm still a noob when it comes to this stuff.

I'm not still running it to double check but selecting it from the mastur mod settings usually installs it for you. You should get a prompt to reboot and possibly a message that system UI has stopped working. Then when it boots back up the changes should be reflected.
