backup data on non rooted phone?

I, like an idiot, downloaded the GB OTA on June 1 and subsequently lost my root. I want to sbf back to froyo, root again, then get the rooted GB version and run liberty. But first, I want to know if it is possible for me to back up my data since titanium back up won't work anymore since the phone lost the root. any help is appreciated.
