The Zen has no heart rate monitor if that's any factor in your decision. But on the other hand it's also a LOT nicer looking than the S should that be of any consequence to you.

Tne Zenwatch does have a heart rate monitor....it's integrated into the front bezel. I like the fact that the S is more compatible with my Note 4....plus I tend to be a brand snob....*hangs head*...

My apologies. The reviews (3 professional ones) I read said it didn't have one.

That's a tough choice. I like the idea of the Gear for the same reason you mentioned, it's directly compatible with your Samsung phone.

I also agree that the zenwatch is a beautiful device.

If I were you, I'd watch some review videos of each on youtube.

Get your info about the Gear S from Mark, and an idea of what an android wear device is like from the rest of us. Haha!

Really though. Once you know how the battery life and responsiveness of the zenwatch compare to the G Watch that a lot of us have here, it's just about looks. Everything else is android wear and the same.

If I had gone AW the Zen would've been my choice to be perfectly honest. It's the least smartwatch looking of the bunch I've seen. Being a minimalist I felt like I settled by going with a smartwatch look vs a time piece look. The Fit looks enough like a fitness band where I got very few comments other than asking would it make phone calls beyond the fitness conversations.

I agree the Zen is probably the best looking of the mainstream smartwatches out right now. I'm liking the G watch, but my next one will probably be the gen 2 Moto 360. I'm a brand snob too and Sammy just doesn't do it for me. I loved my note 3, but Moto is my brand of choice.

We'll need pics of course Princess. Can't say I've seen any women wearing these devices....yet.
Which poses the question: are all smartwatches "unisex", or is there a particular brand or manufacturer that makes a different device for both men & women?

They're all big but over the last few years ladies specific time piece watches have seemed to have gotten much larger as well. I'm thinking eye sight is winning the fashion war over form as Americans age.
