anyone else having problems with the charger disconnecting while charging

Lately my charger has been having connection problems. I plugs my phone into the charger and if I play my apps or get a txt message I flip open to use my keys and the slights tap from my punky on the wire disconnects. Its been wiggly alot lately. I requested a new phone due to this problem but im worried that they will think its due to ware and tare and I get charged for a new phone.

The charger cable is probably worn out and the wires inside are tearing.

Try replacing the charger.

I had to replace the phone. it would not charge on any charger. I hope that is not it for you.

I had this problem and it ended up being a problem with the charger. The metal on the part that physically plugs into the phone itself separates over time if you use your phone when its plugged in. The gap in the plug part gets too big and wont stay connected. I was able to pinch them back together a bit and it fixed it for a while. Had the same problem with my car dock. Took both chargers into verizon (at different times), explained what was happening and they replaced both chargers free of charge.
