It's cool to see... but who's browsing the web on their microwave? Or washing machine? LOL
Set both up with an AOL account:
"You've got Food!"
"You've got WASH!"
Yep, pretty silly. An Android powered universal remote might be cool, though..
I can understand the microwave as it's in the kitchen; you can look up recipes and what not. But why the hell would someone want this for the washing machine? Do people really use them for more than 30-40 seconds at a time? And look how far back that screen is, you'd have to hunch over the thing to use it!
The OS is free... I'd do it!
The only benefit I could see is that those appliances could send you an e-mail when they're done. Other than that, useless.
