Ive heard about verizons plan to make a data cap on 7/7
soo what i was wondering was there is a lg revolution on amazon for like $0.01.
If i got that and the unlimited data plan with it would i be "grandfathered" in?
Is this even a good idea at all?
any help you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated. tyvm

You have to have a smart phone and the smartphone data plan on that phone before 7/7/2011. That's all there is to it.

If you do not have a smart phone now and are up for renewal, you can use the renewal price at Amazon.com or Wirefly.com. If you are not up for renewal, you will have to pay full price.

If you are NOT a Verizon customer, you can get the new customer price at Amazon.com or Wirefly.com, add the data plan (required to add to get the phone) and then you are set.

However...you must have the phone and plan in place (the phone has to be activated) no later than July 6th, 2011. If the phone is being shipped, you need it here so you can activate it by Wednesday.

Just my opinion but the Revo doesn't look to be a good phone.

Make sure you're looking at their upgrade price and not their new customer price. Link doesn't work for me or else I'd take a look.

Edit: Found it. It's $99 to upgrade to this device with Amazon.
