Android 2.3.3 to allow screenshots without rooting

I keep hearing they're working w/Verizon to get 2.3 on the X but I'll be happier when it shows.

Speaking of screen shots does anyone know of an app that will take a screenshot if I tap the screen or hit a key/touch the screen. I'm using ShootMe. (please PM me)

There's quite a few things that you can only accomplish while being rooted that should be standard features
