Alarm wont sound?

I need some help here... My alarm on my phone wont go off.. The tracker ball lights up and flashes like it's going off but it does not make a sound? I also have my media and ringer volume turned p to max.. Any help guys this is driving me crazy!!

This happened to me too and made me late for work. Here's how you fix it:

There are 3 different volumes on your phone: ringer volume, media volume, and yes, alarm volume. Your alarm volume is probably down for some reason.

Go to one of the alarms you have set.
Click on "Alarm Sound"
Hit the volume keys on the side to turn up the Alarm Volume

I used my Eris last night for the first time as an alarm and had my alarm volume all the way up and my alarm still did not go off. First time I have ever been late for work from oversleeping. I'll have to go back to using my Samsung U740 for just an alarm.
