Here you go a newb friendlier Root method for the Verizon Galaxy S4 has been released! The original Root method by Open1Your1Eyes0 is pretty simple. You simply flash an older kernel in odin, root via motochopper, then flash the stock kernel back. Some folks are worried that they are somehow going to mess up this process which is understandable especially if you are not familiar with Samsung devices and the use of Odin and so forth.
This is not simply a root tool however this utility will also go ahead and install recovery for you after it has rooted the device. If anything else this will be a timesaver. Once the toolkit is downloaded you will have everything you need to do the Root and Recovery process. This is not a one click method by anymeans, rather it is a guided newb friendly utility.
