Just updated my phone. It caused some funky stuff but nothing major.

First thing I noticed was that my settings icon on my home page had changed to the little green android guy. When I tapped on it it said app not installed. Dragged that icon to the trash and grabbed the real icon from the app drawer and that issue was fixed.

Next thing was my keyboard sounds had been turned back on but in settings it showed an empty checkbox for that. I checked the box and then unchecked it and that fixed it.

Also one of the icons from one of my home screens has disappeared but I cant for the life of me remember what it was.

Seems to me like it just booted up faster after I shut it off for the start of my work day. Anybody else, or am I reaching?

Battery seems a bit more stable too.

I think you're right. If course, I just recently went back to the stock launcher from Next 3D, so that could be affecting my perception as well.

98% after 7 minutes here, but it stayed at 100 longer than it has been. Usually, I'm down to 98 by the time I get to work.

It will likely improve with time. Phones need time to adapt after an OS upgrade.

Even if it doesn't improve much, I bit the power bank case & have been getting along fine the way it was.

The fact that things are considerably more fluid is a good enough trade if I don't see much change in battery life.

The battery use percentages seem more accurate now as well. SwiftKey barely registered before & now is topping the list. Giving my posting here, that sounds right.

A lot of emphasis on battery life. I never had an issue with my battery before. Any other things about the update?
