and FYI, verizon is going to start charging you if you somehow figure it out. so just dont tether without a tethering plan.

Yes it does work, I have used it. Unfortunately there is embedded software in Gingerbread that's detects tethering and will cause your data to stop working or you will have tethering added to your plan automatically. Suggest you don't use on Gingerbread. This is with all carriers, has been confirmed by P3 and I have tested. It will activate the stock 3G hotspot and will log. Have seen this affect GB tether users already!
