No, the phone will still only charge at 1.0 amps, it is limited in the firmware. Remember that the "2.1 amp" rating on a charger is not what it is putting out, but what a load device (phone) is capable of drawing from it, chargers don't "push" out amperage, they allow for that amount of draw. Which is also why "fast chargers" don't make any difference in the Rezound, or most HTC phones. I think some customer ROMs have this capability, seems to me Nils ROMs will allow the Rez to charge at higher rates.

So will it work, absolutely... will you gain anything over a 1.0 amp charger, nope.
