I got an Xbox one for Christmas. I got the Kinect and two controllers, Assassin's Creed (two games, forget which ones), NHL15 and 2K Sports NBA2015.
While both of the sports games are lacking, I still enjoy playing them. So far, things are good right now, lol.
The apps, including support for Plex, made the purchase worth it. As I like my Chromecast but despise it's lack of support 5Ghz WiFi, the Xbox One is filling it's role quite nicely.
