So, I just got finished charging my Droid Bionic extended battery, and I turn it on and send out one text message & it goes down 1% already? Also, when the phone booted up the Bad a$$ battery monitor said it was already down to 95% what gives??
Is this normal? I didn't use my phone at all last night, and it's been disconnected for 10hours with none to little use & already down to 76% battery left
10 hours and still 76% is good. Even though you are not using it, the phone is still doing things in the background. If you have wifi connected, data enabled, emails set to pull or push frequently, all of this still happens and uses battery even though you are not using it.

He is correct. There is a battery mode in the battery settings called Nighttime Mode that cuts of all data and WiFi and nearly anything that requires data to use, if not everything. I don't use it, myself, but that should help you get a few more hours with a little less drain. But, I think the phone actually comes with it enabled out of the box. Unless you're a second owner, it should already be like that.
