Buyback prices are based on what the customer paid at time of purchase, with exception being contract phones. In those cases, its based on the price before dealer discount (ie a 600 dollar phone you got for free with upgrade, would give you 300 bucks in the first 6 months.)

Thanks for clearing that up. So the Bionic is $699 at Bestbuy, you'd get $349.50 back, might be a decent idea if you wanted to pick up another phone within 6 months.
