Waiting on my DX to ship from VZW. I currently use a Dare and enter text by WORD exclusively. Does the DX support this or am I just gonna have to get used to using a QWERTY keyboard? I haven't found an app yet that allows this. Anyone know of one?

I also went from a dare to the droid x and used T9 exclusively to type. You can't use it on the droid, but I've been using swype and doing fine. Takes some getting used to it but you'll get the hang of it in no time

I went from a Dare to a Droix X as well. I sometimes miss the Predictive texting, but for it to be setup the way I would prefer, it would have to be how the keypad for dialing numbers would look. You would have to scroll your finger quite a bit to get what you want.

I do not reccomend doing this, but I used to text with ease while driving.. Now while I drive, I have to attempt to use the Voice to text option or wait til it is likely safe to text. (i.e., open road, etc).
