i bought the droid a855 on ebay and i did a hard reset and now it just goes to the main screen with the droid guy and says i need to activate my phone.... ive done it a few times and it wont work, just goes back to that same main screen.. anyone know what the issue might be? it says the phone was activated successfully

This is a dumb question but I'm gonna ask anyway. Did you add the esn to your my Verizon account first.

i did but i think i figured it out i just had to bypass the programming

weird, welll it says its programmed but it doesnt connect to the service ??

I've never actually done this myself yet, but is it possible you're reactivating it on the precious owner's account, rather than yours?
