Um, it's the WiFi tethering app code repository I'm linking to. As soon as new versions of the app are stable enough to be published for testing, they drop there LONG before they hit the market. If you'd looked you'd have seen that. The app in my signature is the latest version, whereas the one in the market, last I was aware, is months out of date.

Sorry, I hadn't noticed that I only briefly checked the web site from my phone, and was half asleep while doing so... sorry for my rude comment, I need to keep myself off the forums when I'm tired :/

And I apologize for my response if it sounded annoyed. I've been up for two nights straight on very little sleep and, like you, reading forums when tired can lead to responses that are a little short if not bordering on rude.

When I rooted my phone back in maybe July, I had this issue! I could NOT get the internet to work at all!

Recently, I rooted my phone again (I unrooted for Froyo OTA, don't ask why) and downloaded SkyRaider 3.3.3 with all the goodies and it came with wireless tether already in the ROM! And it works flawlessly! No set up needed. I just connected, and the internet was as fast (if not faster) than my wireless internet! I have lightning fast 3G at my house .

I'm taking this on the road with my laptop tomorrow. Going for a 3 hour road trip. Hope it works out!
