Wireless Tether for Root

I tried posting this to the JRummy thread but got no response so will try here.

I have burned the Rummy 1.0 ROM and it works perfectly and I really like it. BUT I am having a problem getting the App "Wireless Tether for Root" to work and I am wondering if that may be a problem with Rummy 1.0 since it worked fine with the original Motorola ROM.

Any suggestions?

When I first installed it on the Motorola ROM I was prompted for a name for the hot spot and a password. I used the name "Lighthouse" and a personal password. It worked fine and I used it.

Then when I reflashed the ROM to Rummy 1.0 I had to re load the App. because everything I had downloaded before disapeared with the reflash.

But when I tried to set it up it no longer went through the setup as it had before and when it comes on it doesnt seem to be available. Nothing is being detected by my Laptop. Sometimes it comes up with a double "button" one green one for turning it off and a white one for turning it on and they are overlapping on the screen.

I tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling it but it was still the same.
