So how long does yalls battery last on the leak?

Not nearly as long as it did on 905. I used to get about 14 hours with Moderate use, but now I'm seeing about 9 on 247. But i got the processor bump To 1.2, and I now have the best 4G I have ever had with this phone. I've started playing with smart actions, and really hoping it will help. Battery life has been a big disappointment so far.

Yeah, I was thinking around that time is well, but I was hoping for the 14th and really really wishing for the 7th haha....

I am still 905 100% stock... tried 232 in July for 2 days, but I was sure the OTA was soon so I went back to 905... sad, huh?

I have read HOB FAQ and OP. I am certain I will download HOB soon. Just because I may go to 247 soon so I can be prepared if 247 isn't the OTA

Thanks for the script. Im officially on 247 now. Now to play around with this and see what Ive been missing......... consider me another satisified customer of the HOB. I didnt apply root, but figure I can go back and do that in the future if I feel I need to do that.

I couldnt wait. got everything downloaded and went for it. Its rebooting now, but Im stoked! Ive always been worried about not getting any support from verizon or moto if I went off the path. Ive come to the realization that they have no path! Its booting and optimizing right now. Verizon hasnt given me one bit of help for the 1st year on the data connection issue, so Im making my own path with the help from this forum. I could care lees about the official path now. Ill stick with you guys from here on out

Ok, you guys have more than figured out by now that I am not a phone techie at all. But at the risk of sounding even more ignorant... how do I figure out how many ghz my phone is clocking at?

There are several apps that can provide this. Quadrant is a popular one (for benchmarking too) and you can also use Quick System Info. Typically your current speed varies is a function of what the phone's current load is - so you're looking for the Maximum speed it says it can run at.

Using the same technique we used to get you to 247, in fact. The Linux/Mac HoB will be able to do it for you.

Preparation is definitely a winning strategy. Until we get an FXZ for ICS, no one using 235+ should be without the HoB.

LMAO! It shouldn't take you very long. Flash system, preinstall, boot, reboot into recovery, install it. Done.

Like i said i am lazy make it one click an ur done not 6 an the go into recovery yada yada yada
