if you've read everything and then run into a problem, you won't have a problem with my level of support. Even when I'm yelling at people for not reading and wasting my time, I still help them. We've yet to lose a phone. For what you need to do, it's pretty damn simple. Install 7.7, FXZ, RSD 5.7, 247 update installer....in that order. Make sure the latest Moto driver is installed and that the phone can be seen by windows in both Charge Only and AP Fastboot modes (for the second you reboot it manually into AP Fastboot by shutting it off, hold volume down and hit power....do so while it's connected to USB). Once the driver situation is dealt with, reboot the phone. Make sure USB Debugging is enabled, you are *NOT* on a USB 3 port, and the phone is in Charge Only mode. Run the HoB, select 247, then INSTALL, then follow and DO all of the prompts. Done.

I couldnt wait. got everything downloaded and went for it. Its rebooting now, but Im stoked! Ive always been worried about not getting any support from verizon or moto if I went off the path. Ive come to the realization that they have no path! Its booting and optimizing right now. Verizon hasnt given me one bit of help for the 1st year on the data connection issue, so Im making my own path with the help from this forum. I could care lees about the official path now. Ill stick with you guys from here on out:)

In a couple weeks you'll be on the official path anyway. One way or another.

If I had a dollar for every time someone asks Sam that... :-)

Tell me about it. Sarge has better info than I do on that. My sources have NFI what's going on anymore. EVERYONE is confused about this update except Sarge and his contacts.

Your bouncing maybe due to the signal strength of each of the AP's being close to the same and the bionic can not choose which is the best as they are all close to the same strength. I would try adjusting the signal strength for one and also choosing a different channel for each AP as well. depending on what radio type is in each AP. Most AP's do not like seeing the same channels as neighbors with the same SSID.

I thought about that but I set all the channels differently upon setup, I also have all the SSIDs set completely different I had them all set the same at one point, however that did not work out to well, when one went down trying to figure out which it was was a complete PIA, so I setup a new naming scheme to make my life easier, each is close however different so I know they are mine

Well I just put the 247 zip on my sdcard..... thinking about booting into recovery and applying it.... Someone just smack me in the back of the head and say DO IT

Ok, you guys have more than figured out by now that I am not a phone techie at all. But at the risk of sounding even more ignorant... how do I figure out how many ghz my phone is clocking at?
