Possible bug in 247 (and maybe earlier):

I currently have some smart actions set-up on my phone. I have the ringer be set to 20% from the hours of 11:00pm-6:00am and then the ringer is set to 60% between the hours of 6:01am and 10:59pm. However, after the ringer is supposedly turned back up to 60% during the day I actually will not have any sound coming from the phone. The only way to remedy this seems to be to reboot the phone. Has any one else noticed any other odd happenings with SmartActions?

If you have no volume, try using the volume rocker to turn the volume all the way down (when nothing is trying to play), then turn it back up with the rocker. Sometimes that fixes the problem without having to reboot.

Alright so I got the house all set up last night but wimped out and went to bed before diving in. Planning on taking the leap this evening, but wanted to see if anyone was willing to check if a couple processes are present in 247 that weren't in 232 and may have caused my exchange issues. Im looking for the processes "corporate sync authenticator" and "ms exchange service". I'd also like to know if "Motorola corporate sync" shows up as an available device administrator. Thanks for all the tips so far, you guys friggin rock.

are you using a USB 3.0 port? mine wouldn't work either till I used USB 2.0. 3.0 isn't supported

No it's a USB 2.0 port as this is an older Core Due Acer laptop :blink:

The window tells you EXACTLY what the problem is and what you need to do to fix it. I can't help it if people can't read. Here's a hint....your install of RSD != the private RSD copy that the HoB requires.

I've set up very basic SA and it doesn't always kick in when all parameters are met, FDR'd with no improvement on both .232 and now .247. Wouldn't have thought SA would have issues with builds this far along, haven't seen where Razr ICS users have this among all their issues that we don't have.

I wish people wouldn't publicly mention small issues like this. I'd hate to see our freaking ICS delayed another 6 months because the goddamn Smart Actions aren't working.

Thank you both 2THEXTRM and linuxgator. I am confused as well as why this is happening in such a refined build. Ture, have not seen Razr owners with these issues. I will try the Volume all the way down then back up solution, linuxgator.

Other than this issue, the Bionic with ICS is like a brand new phone! Thanks again for your suggestions.

You must not have read EVERYTHING as you missed an entire installer. Which the error in the screen you posted clearly tells you. I don't know how much more obvious I can make it.
