Wiping w/o getting past login

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I *did* search, so sorry if this is stupid.

Anyway, is there any way to wipe my phone clean without getting past the pattern lock. I have no idea what it is and had no Google account.
I'm not too worried about saving what's still on there, just a straight wipe would be enough.

Boot into recovery then do an FDR from there.
