Wifi teether

Can anyone help me out with the wifi teether. How do I get it to work? Do I have to plug my phone into the computer with USB cable? Or am I missing something?

Are you rooted, and what wifi tether app are you using?

Just start the barnacle and search a wifi network from your laptop. The network will be Barnacle.

Take a look, after conect in client tab will show your pc name.

I don't see why you're so dead set on plugging the cable in... its over wifi. Only reason you would plug the cable in while you're using wireless tethering is to keep the battery from dying in 3 hours...
