Wifi only xoom

Im seeing a Xoom for sale over on woot.com.

I own one through verizon with the 3g connectivity. Is there an actual "wifi only" version of the tablet? My understanding was that they were all identical hardware and you just had to pay for the 3g service through verizon. So if I buy the wifi version could I take it to verizon and add it to my data plan?

There is a WiFi only version and I'm using it right now. I'm tethering between my D2G and the Xoom via Bluetooth. And yes, its safe. No, I'm not using my phone data plan.
