Is there any way to use the nexus as a 4G hotspot without rooting phone? Obviously I want to avoid verizon charging me. I downloaded WiFi Hotspot and the USB Tether App by SVTP. I set it up and it works. However when it activates it automatically activates the "Portable WiFi hotspot" under Settings. Im assuming this notifies verizon about my usage and then they will bill me. Anyone use this app? Looking for some help here. Thanks.
