Wifi from a Dongle?

I'd like to be able to use my internet at my desktop to my Droid by wifi. I can't add a traditional wifi router, so I was hoping that I could get a wifi or bluetooth USB dongle and provide an internet signal to my Droid and future Tablet.

Is there such a device?

You can configure a Wireless Network Adapter to work in ad-hoc mode, meaning instead of the Wireless Network Adapter (WiFi adapter) connecting to a network, it becomes the network, and other devices can connect to it for internet, assuming your computer is already on the internet. If the computer needs to connect to a WiFi network for internet, you will need two WiFi adapters- one to connect to the internet, one to rebroadcast it. But that would defeat the purpose, why not just connect everything to that original WiFi internet source? I'm assuming this is not your case, anyway good luck!
