At work we have spotty phone service so I keep Wi-fi on as well as my 3G/4G service. Issue is that the wi-fi is work network with many sites blocked. If both wi-fi and regular service on which one becomes default and is there a way to make the phone try regular 3g/4g before it tries wi-fi?

Thanks

I'd you have it set to automatically connect, wifi takes precedent over mobile data.

If the phone connects to a wireless network then mobile data will stop. Even if you connect to a wireless network that does not have internet, it will still not use 3g/4g and you will not have any internet until you turn off wireless.

thanks. So I guess I'm SOL. If I want unfettered net access I have to turn off Wi-fi and hope for the best.

If useing i-net at least occasionally for work ask your IT guru at work for access. Worst case you get told no.
