Since you found the phone, it is your obligation to contact the insurance to let them know. Since you are in possession of the lost phone, you are committing insurance fraud now by not turning it in.

I lost a phone once. When i called they actually told me that if i find it it is no longer mine but there property. I actually did find it.. ran over and destroyed.. i called them and told em they said kerp whatever you can save and trash it.. so i did.. just call them and see.. if they make you return it then your wife..not the ins comp.. lost you $90. If they say keep it put it on ebay someone will buy for parts, if the let u return it n use original good deal... Id just call them.. is making a hundred bucks by selling it illegally really that important.. i dont see anybody paying top dollar for phone they cant activate.
