Widget that won't delete

I dl'd the Fox News headlines widget. It does not work, locks up my phone. I want to clean it off.

I have dragged it to the pop-up trash many times but the darn thing won't uninstall and go away (the Yahoo news feed works better IMHO).

How can I dump this thing?:icon_evil:

Go into settings, then applications, then manage, then choose the app and hit uninstall.

Now...how can I delete (or at least remove from Home) some of the factory installed items...such as Facebook and Corporate Calendar?

The same way you tried to delete the fox news widget, click-hold on them then drag to the popup trashcan.
