Wi-Fi problems

Hi guys, my name is Brandon and i currently have the driod razr i love my phone its great but when i connect to my home wifi it connects but bar is gray and it will let me go into apps but if they require internet connection it will not load i do not know how to fix it or anything. I have connected fine at other places and worked beautifully but this is irritating and i dont want to eat up all my data please help

I had that problem too a few months ago. I narrowed it down to an IP issue. The way I solved it was turned off the router for several minutes, turned off anything in the house that used the router (printers other phones etc), powered off the razr and powered the razr back on. Then restarted the router, waited for the connection to be made and then allowed other devices to connect to the router. Fixed the issue and haven't had a problem since.
