Why would LG inscribe their logo at the bottom ON SCREEN??

I just got my CLNR phone because my other one was screwing up way to much. Anyways, I thought it may be a sticker or something, but it's actually printed on the damn screen at the bottom and it's kinda annoying. It doesn't cover up much and is hard to see, but it drives my crazy having it on there. Is there any way to actually get it off or no?

LG Revolution. The new one I bought doesn't have a LG silk screening of the logo anywhere at all. The replacement model has it printed on the viewing screen at the bottom right over the phone/message/app drawer icons.
