Why does my phone keep saying "system ui stopped working" and "phone media process stopped"?
And how did this happen?
Any way to fix?

I guess a result of this is- when I go to download anything it just says "download unsuccessful".

Are you stock or rooted?? If you're rooted, what are you running?

I get the media error too.. I reboot the device and it clears.. annoying to say the least, but that's all I've got.

It went away for a while after doing an fdr. Hope this helps

You could try booting into recovery and clearing your phones cache... .
