I wanted to theme my swype but can't find where the apk is stored if you install it through UD settings? I checked system/app and data/app but its not there...any help?

I think that it is under a different name. I have an app in my system/app folder called LatinIME that has the swype pic and was downloaded through the UD settings.

It's my understanding that BD is using the .apk file from the D2. If that's the case then there is nothing wrong with it and I will delete my previous post.

hmm i think that's the stock android keyboard...but i'll check

the only reason that i think that that might be the swype app is because i had to reinstall it today and it said it was modified around the time that i reinstalled it.

it isnt a apk file ..it is names something else.... i seen it yesterday cause i was wondering the same thing...i forgot where i seen the file though..i am in the processs in rebooting my phone..post back if u still want to know where it is and ill look ...rebooting now

the file i found like i said previously which is the only thing i can find is in /data/data and it is..... com.swype.android.inputmethod .......... dont know if that is what u need but if u figure it out and it works let me know cause i been wondering the same way to get my color back

Am typing on themed Swype right now. The UD Swype installer script replaces the usual LatinIME.apk with Swype. To theme, go to /system/app and rename LatinIME.apk to Swype.apk. Apply your Metamorph theme of choice (just google "Swype themes"to find) and reboot.
