Who is exchanging the Razr for Prime and why?

Well from what I've read so far looks like everyone mostly isn't changing their device. I love my Razr and don't mind waiting a little while for ICS cuz it will have bugs and I would rather them work it out than to rush it to our Razr's and jack it all up. Let them test it on the Prime first. IMO.

I am not returning my razr at all for the nexus. I played with the nexus today and while it is nice, it felt cheap. I messed with it's camera and compared it to my razr's camera and the razr had a sharper image.

Well for what its worth, there will be some interesting reading in the Nexus forums tonight.... should we start a tally on how many bugs there be? Lol jk.
Don't hate OK.. I'm glad that it came out I just know its not the phone for me which I've read both spec's of both devices and chose my Razr. It fit my needs and its reliability is the best.

Blur is seriously not as bad as it was before. Moto actually made improvements overall while Sense UI seems to gotten a lil heavy. And a phone with Blur is the closest to stock Android than the other custom UIs.

I don't wanna exchange or replace my RAZR, I just wanna see some things compared to my RAZR. I like Moto phones for one reason and one reason only...reception. Next is battery life...and every thing else comes 2nd. Or is that 3rd...

It's pretty awesome and functional. Very little "weight" and the RAZR runs very lean.

I love the functionality it adds. I did not like early versions of Blur at all. It was terrible in my opinion. They have hit it out of the park and it should only get better.

No complaints from me about Blur because it's not intrusive at all. Calling it Blur doesn't even feel right :)

I only hope that they don't "Blur" ICS to the point that it's indistinguishable from what we have now (a la Samsung with the "switch" in TouchWiz from FroYo to Gingerbread). I agree that they did a great job with Blur-Lite on GB, but I would like to get some of the design benefits from Duarte's ICS.

Im keeping my razr. Played with the nexus for an hour and wasn't to impressed. ICS is great. Im just not a fan of Samsung phones.

I went twice today to purchase the GN. I'm coming from an iPhone 4s which I really like. It's just a tad to small for me. I went early morning to my local Verizon, messed with the floor model for an hour. Compairing displays, photos, video... Ect. I left the store very unimpressed. I should make mention that I compared the GN to the floor model Razr and found the Razr to be a much better device IMO.
I went home really disapointed with the GN since I have waited so long for it. Like an idiot, I drove to a different VZ store and played with their GN model. Yup, same disappointment! I again compared the GN to the Razr and found the Razr to be the superior device. The speaker(s) on the GN are TERRIBLE!! I personally believe (again just my opinion) the screen just looks better on the Razr. Am I crazy or on my own on this????

You are not crazy. As the novelty of ICS wears off, I have a feeling some GN owners will start to realize they should have choose something else.

The claim to fame for the GNex is that it's Google's developer phone. If you want to get the latest software first, install custom ROMs, install apps that require root, etc., there's really no substitute. That's why a lot of the online nerd communities (of which I'm a proud member) are going nuts over this phone. If, however, you're looking for a smooth experience with second to none hardware (which is probably the case, seeing as you're an iOS user), I'd say the RAZR is the superior device. Different strokes, and all that.

No...cuz thats your opinion. lol. I have heard a few ppl say that or some wasnt really impressed with the screen on the G Nex. Know this....there has yet to be a perfect phone, screen. What you like, dont like is your opinion, doesnt make it wrong. Some ppl say its a lil better than the screen on the RAZR some say its waaay batter, miles better....go figure, right?

Thanks guys. I guess I fell into a fanboy way of thinking for a few moments today. Trying to force myself to like the mega hyped GN I've waited for so long. Bottom line, I just didnt care for it. I will test the Razr for a month and see what else is out there if I don't care for it.

But would you agree that if the hardware doesn't last or isn't up to par what good is the software if the phone falls apart? Any developer can make roms for phones but if the phone itself falls apart,it wont last no matter what you put on it.

Hey we have all been victim to three fanboy pandemic once or twice. LOL. I waited for the Bionic fir so long that when it released I just had to have it and was in live with it....fir a grew days but then I came back down to reality and it just didn't blow me away. I am so glad I didn't keep it because I would have been livid if I was stuck with that phone when a better one was just Weeks away.
