Who else sets their brightness to the lowest setting?

Maybe I should auto it, but I change it from bright to low depending on my environment. I have a bright wallpaper so all the way is waay bright

I use to have it set at 25% setting.

But one day I was in and out of the shade/sun alot while at a event. It got so sick of adjusting the brightness ever so often, and just went back to Auto.

It might use more battery but it is just to much hassel with manual adjustment.

I keep mine on the lowest setting..only a couple times have I found it to be too dim. The fact that it cant get any dimmer is ridiculous :\

i have it on the middle brightness. did not like the auto. i did not see much difference in battery life between low and middle brightness

I would like to reduce the brightness even more. Is there anyway to actually turn the backlight off, or much closer than I can presently?
There have been plently of times, for instance checking the weather when I first wake up, that even the lowest setting is WAY to bright. I would love to be able to adjust the brightness from a true 0% to 100% in much finer increments than I can do now.

No auto brightness for me... it's annoying to see the brightness change all of a sudden when im happy.

So, I use the power widget to select the brightness (among other settings) and Timeriffic for auto adjustment based on time. Saves on battery and still very convenient.

I always use the autobrightness.....instead of manually having to adjust it all the time...but I just about had to make myself use it a long time ago cause I liked the brightness turned all the way up and it was wasting battery....but now I'm used to it

I go back and forth between auto brightness and manual low brightness. There does seem to be a significant difference in battery drain, but on days where going between indoors and outdoors frequently, the auto setting is MUCH more convenient.

Given that the battery really hasnt been an issue recently, I may just go back and leave it on auto more often.

Auto for me until night time when I turn auto off, turn brightness all the way down and use the brightness app to turn off the keys as well as the dim feature. I am now able to dock it and not have it light up the room.
