While texting or browsing the phone locks up when there's an incoming call

I had pretty good luck with applock. Used it to lock my remote desktop app for added protection before I decided it wasn't worth remoting in from my phone.

Ad removal is the big one. Not sure what else. The free version did the trick for me, but an ad will pop-up when you open an app with the pin. Can't recall if it was every time or not, but probably worth the price if you're using it to lock apps that you open more than once in a while.
