Help with calls/texts

I was in a group chat earlier sith some friends just now I went into my recent calls to check a phone number and every time 1 of the group text messages came in (while I was in the phone with someone else) they showed up as an incoming call?? Why is that and how do I stop it?

Well, I think its going to come up as you were over the group chat earlier means you are connecting with every person available over the group chat.
