Which keyboard do you use?

Thanks for the idea ripper, I'm trying touchpad and it is working flawlessly. It even has the navigation feature that I led liked on Go keyboard. Very nice!

Glad to help. I went through a few KBs before settling on Touchpal. I'll get bored every now and then and try others on occasion, but always go back after a few embarrassing texts or emails. :D

I've tried quite a few over the years and Go keyboard was one of my favorites for a long time, but I've been using (& now prefer) Swiftkey X the best. Go just doesn't learn your words very well at all, so I haven't used in in quite awhile. I purchased the "pro" version of Swiftkey X a few months ago and it's now my daily driver. The predictions on it are great! You can set it up to learn your typing style from sms, email & even Facebook & Twitter. I rarely type out full sentences anymore, since the "predictions" are so spot on, you just tap on the predicted words and you're done in no time! (well worth the money imo)

Perfect keyboard pro, ever since winning it in 1 of droidforum's giveaways. High customization in this app.

From colors to button size to layout of the pads. I come no where close to using it at its full potential.

I mainly use Ultra Keyboard. it has a trace which is like swype. The dev is always doing updates and changes to improve it. I tried Go, eh it wasn't for me. I tried Thumb, it was a nice change and I actually switch to it when I am a passenger. I have been using swype the last few days, just to see if it is all that.

A big SwiftKey fan here. Haven't tried Go Keyboard so I might take a look into it, but I really dig SwiftKey.

I absolutely love ultra keyboard for the Swype ability and the customization options. But I keep going back to swiftkey for it's awesome predictability.. if swiftkey had Swype it would be perfect! Or if ultra had better predictive text!

Anyone try "Big Button Keyboard-Deluxe"? I mentioned to Verizonwireless tech guy that my fingers were just not working for the keyboard that came with phone (at that time - HTC Thunderbolt) so he put this "Big Button Keyboard, Deluxe" & when I got this current RAZR, it seemed that keys were even smaller so one of first changes was to Deluxe version of BBK. Customizations in colors, background, lots of choices & it learns my dictionary (it's possible to access dict. & delete errors, etc). Of the choices, I use "easy to read" at the bottom of options list, in black & white, not because of any site issue but simply because I prefer it to the many color options, many that I tried but even though my fingers aren't especially large, now, I can type quickly which is a huge change from when I was struggling to press each correct key.
I enthusiastically recommend the Big Button Keyboard, Deluxe version 3.0.6. Frankly, I was surprised that it wasn't tops in the choices because I have no interest in trying other keyboard names because it's simply not possible to fit an easier keyboard into the RAZR. Enjoy!

Have tried three

On my Fascinate I used Flext9 which is my favorite but now I use Swype that came on the phone. Runs smooth.

I have purchased three and find that Smart Keyboard Pro seems better than others including the newest Swiftkey3. Wish there was a really good one -all seem just barely acceptable.

Hackers keyboard. Many customization options. Also the most responsive keyboard I have ever used, and I've used all of the above mentioned.

I prefer stock keyboard also. Especially now that it has voict to text feature and its surprisingly accurate also.
I actually really like the stock multi-touch keyboard. I find that I'm far more accurate with it than with any other keyboard I've used, including Swype (with over two years of Swyping experience), SwiftKey X, Thumb Keyboard, and FlexT9. It just works better for me on the MAXX than anything else that I've come across.
